📦 Information We Collect
Phone number — collected when you register via Firebase Phone OTP authentication. Used to create and identify your account.
Precise GPS location — collected when you map your farm boundary or use location-based features. We collect exact coordinates to draw farm boundaries and provide localised weather and soil data.
Crop photos — uploaded by you for AI-powered crop diagnosis (Crop Doctor). Photos are transmitted to Google Gemini AI for analysis and the diagnosis result is stored in your account.
Farm data, crop records, analysis history — information you enter about your farms, crops, soil, and advisory interactions is stored to provide personalised recommendations.
Device identifiers — Firebase installation ID and similar device-level identifiers generated automatically by Firebase SDK for push notifications and app analytics.

Our backend infrastructure and PostgreSQL database run on Google Cloud (region: asia-south1, Mumbai). All data is stored within Google Cloud's secure environment.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
🔒 Data Security
All data transmitted between the FarmClick app and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS. Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure protected by Google's enterprise-grade security controls. Firebase authentication tokens are verified server-side on every request.
🗓️ Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data (farm records, crop data, analysis history, GPS boundaries, and your phone number) is permanently deleted from our database. Firebase Auth account deletion is also triggered at the same time. Some anonymised, non-identifiable data may be retained for product improvement purposes.

👶 Children's Privacy
FarmClick is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us immediately and we will delete the account.
🔄 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify active users through the app. Continued use of FarmClick after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
